MAGUEY
WILD MAGUEY (MARMORATA). It is also called “Maguey del monte”.
Its name comes from the Nahuatl “tepetl” for mountain.
Its beautiful inflorescence has important ornamental and ceremonial uses.
It requires from 14 to 20 years of maturation.
